Every scar tells a story. Every wrinkle marks an emotion once felt. Life inscribes itself onto the skin, leaving behind an intimate archive: small tattoos created not by ink, but by experience.

In Harmony of Skin, Auður Mist explored the body as a living record, a canvas of memory and transformation. By creating a new version of herself and documenting her whole life on the virgin skin of her alter ego, she ritualistically rid herself of her past.
